Hide Folders & Files in Android Without any Third Party App

We all want to hide our some secrets that stored in our Smartphone like Photos,Videos and a lot of other stuffs from our Friends and Family.
And to do so we install a lot of third party apps 😄

But lot of us dont know that there is a feature already available in our Android Smart Phone to Hide any Files and Folders.

Step 1 : Open Your default File Manager and Create a New Folder.
(For Example Name it as '9iAx')
Step 2 : Now Move all your Secret Files,Folders etc. to that Newly Created Folder (for Example '9iAX').
Step 3 : Now Rename that folder by adding . (a dot symbol) before the folder name.
(For example Rename the folder '9iAX' to '.9iAX')

Step 4 : As You can see now your Folder (.9iAX) is Completely hidden.No one can see that folder (.9iAX) including the stuffs inside that Folder.

Step 5 : So now to Find that Hidden folder (.9iAX) all you have to do is just to to click on the 'Show Hidden Files' in Your File Manager.

Step 6 : After that Your Hidden Folder (.9iAX) will be visible.


◼ To hide the folder again just turn off the 'Show Hidden Files' option.

⭕ With this simple trick you Can hide Folder that you want. You just need a Rename Your secret folder by putting . (dot symbol) Before the name of the folder.
When wanted to See that folder Just tap on Show all Hidden files.
